On cold spring night,
a calming flow,
alum by city light–
hypnotic glow,
with a dizzy, drunken-like spell,
I stare into no place I dwell.
Confused and blind so goes my mind.
But to matter–
as I am content,
watch waves go by so infinite.
I stare...
Although I am cold–
Its ripple sheet,
like a pillow gives me warmth.
